The Opportunity:
Tetra Tech is currently seeking an Environmental Due Diligence Project Manager. This role offers flexibility to work remotely, provided you are near a well-connected airport, or you have the opportunity to work from local Tetra Tech offices (including Chicago, IL, Atlanta, GA, Plano TX, and Irvine CA). As an Environmental Due Diligence Project Manager, you will serve as a key member of the Transaction Advisory group at Tetra Tech and will provide expertise in business development, deal team management, environmental site assessments, technical report writing and review, and excellent client service within the transactional M&A Due Diligence space.

Your Role:
- The primary role of the Environmental Due Diligence Project Manager is to conduct and manage environmental due diligence for complex multi-site portfolios, develop client relationships, and write and review environmental due diligence reports (including but not limited to Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, limited environmental compliance reviews, and limited health and safety reviews).
- Evaluate all types of real estate, commercial, and industrial operations.
- Analyze and recognize potential environmental impact and compliance issues, as well as legacy environmental liabilities.
- Provide clear and concise findings, recommendations, and options regarding client deliverables.
- Coordinate and manage due diligence products involving multi-site portfolios and teams in support of financial and industrial mergers, divestitures, and acquisitions.
- Collaborate in a team atmosphere to plan and meet timelines and requirements along with budget goals.
- Client facing, able to identify and develop new opportunities, prepare technical proposals.
- Develop, track, and document project expectations and budgets.
Qualifications:
- BS degree in science related discipline required.
- 8+ years of experience in environmental consulting field required.
- Previous experience managing similar projects including project expectations and budgets.
- Comfortability and confidence working directly with clients and site representatives.
- Strong communication, technical writing, and public speaking skills.
- Ability to read and interpret regulatory language.
- Ability to travel up to 30% or more of the time for project work and marketing activities.
- A Pre-employment drug screening in compliance with state regulations is required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
Target salary range: $80,000 to $100,000. Please note that Tetra Tech considers various factors in determining pay, including but not limited to: education, relevant and demonstrated work experience in the role, skills, geographic location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business.
