The Opportunity:

Tetra Tech is currently seeking a lead Data Analyst/Database Administrator to join our Henderson Team. We are seeking an energetic individual interested in supporting a variety of challenging projects in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work closely with Principal and Project Engineers, Scientists, and Project Managers on a variety of environmental and industrial plant operations projects. This position may include remote working opportunities.

Your Role:

  • Design and implement data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies as projects needs dictate.
  • Lead data acquisition and formatting data from primary or secondary data sources.
  • SQL Server databases/data systems maintenance and monitoring.
  • Lead team to provide data in formats to allow project scientists to effectively identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a diverse team of scientists, engineers, and technicians, and client representatives.
  • Design, implement, and maintain electronic data collection templates and forms.
  • Strong problem solving, time management, and written and verbal communication skills are required.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. Environmental, Computer Science or related field.
  • 10+ years of environmental data management experience.
  • 5+ years of EQuIS, EQuIS Collect experience, and EQuIS Sample Planning Module.
  • Relational database management system background.
  • Working experience with SSRS.
  • Experience with PowerBI preferred.
  • Experience with reprocessing data for successful upload to ERPIMS, ERIS and other systems.
  • Strong skills and proficiency with Microsoft-based software, including MS Access.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas of environmental remediation: proposal preparation; contract document preparation; environmental sampling (soil/groundwater/surface water); environmental regulations; remediation; geology; water quality; soil science; or revegetation.
  • Experience with the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection preferred.
  • A Pre-employment drug screen in compliance with state regulations is required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.

 

Target salary range:  $85.00 / hour to $90.00 / hour.  Please note that Tetra Tech considers various factors in determining pay, including but not limited to: education, relevant and demonstrated work experience in the role, skills, geographic location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business.
