The opportunity
- Dive into the heart of our financial processes by preparing and maintaining financial and tax records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring our financial transactions are accurate and compliant.
- Work closely with diverse teams across projects and corporate departments.
- Take advantage of continuous improvement and professional development opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare accurate Payment Vouchers (PVs) with proper coding and supporting documentation, and collaborate with project teams for certification.
- Process payments (cheques, EFT, petty cash) promptly and accurately, and enter and verify payment data in Tetra Tech accounting systems.
- Ensure expense descriptions conform to protocols and manage the Indonesia corporate office Petty Cash Float and withholding tax.
- Generate customized financial reports as requested and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with colleagues across Finance, Operations, and the program.
- Collaborate with corporate payroll for timely salary payments and ensure timely payment of withholding tax.
- Submit GST refund documentation to Indonesia's tax authority and manage weekly cashflow for the Indonesia corporate bank account.
Selection criteria
- An accounting qualification is highly desirable.
- Brevat C tax certificate is highly desired
- Experience in accounting, finance, tax, and business administration operations.
- Ability to build operation manuals and systems for tax and accounting.
- Expertise in corporate and individual tax consultation.
- Experience in international development (desirable).
- Coordination with tax officers and handling tax office correspondence.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Strong skills in business finance operations (approvals, payments, accounting, reporting, procurement).
- Proficient in DJP Online and other tax applications.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
