Description
PRO-Telligent, A Tetra Tech Company, needs a Project Controls Engineer in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan for construction of New US Embassy Compound (NEC) with State Department Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO). Requires a US Govt. Secret Security Clearance.
The Project
- 17.3 Acre New US Embassy Compound (NEC) Construction Project in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan
- The new construction includes:
- 6-story NOB (New Office Building)
- 2 CACs (Compound Access Control Facilities)
- Site Development
- We ask for a minimum commitment of 1 year, but 48 months are available if you want them.
- Housing and transportation allowances provided.
- Uplift includes 25% of base salary, plus 25% COLA.
- Benefits (medical, dental, vision, 30 days paid time off a year, paid round trip flights home)
Position Description
- Manage operations of NEC project office as related to project's cost and schedule.
- Perform full range of project controls report drafting and production (MS Office Suite), cost management, schedule management (Primavera), change order management, and submittal management.
- Prepare reports, Independent Government Estimates (IGEs), and maintain daily construction log.
- Review construction contractor's monthly application for payment and advise NEC Project Director of findings.
Requirements
- US Govt. Secret Clearance or higher
- US Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or Architectural Engineering
- OR Current US PE license can substitute for degree
- Some Primavera experience (you don't need to be an expert)
- 7 years construction experience
- ABET accredited (not equivalent) international degree accepted in lieu of US Bachelor's or US PE
