The opportunity
- Based in Australia – Based in Australia (in office, hybrid or remote)
- Work with an established team on projects across the Indo-Pacific
- Provide high level strategic advice and leadership

Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic counsel to the leadership team, senior leaders, and staff across COZ on communications best practices, strategy development, and execution at an enterprise-wide level.
- Partner closely with Markets, Clients and Strategy, HR, Delivery Teams, and Project Team Leaders to ensure alignment between communications initiatives and business objectives.
- Act as a key point of contact for corporate and project advisors, ensuring cohesive communication strategies that drive organisational goals.
- Lead and manage engagement with key external stakeholders to maximise brand exposure and opportunities for collaboration that align with the company's strategic vision.
- Oversee relationships with external suppliers, such as agencies and freelancers, ensuring they deliver high quality outputs that meet strategic objectives.
- Drive the development and execution of the strategic direction for all internal communication, media, and PR activities, ensuring alignment with Tetra Tech International Development's Growth and Transformation Strategy.
- Direct the development, implementation, and evaluation of corporate communications, media, and external engagement strategies to enhance brand reputation and support the company's objectives.
Selection criteria
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience in Marketing, Communication, Business or related discipline.
- At least five years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience producing high-quality publications.
- Experienced in writing B2B content for different mediums.
- Up-to-date knowledge of new technologies, including social media channels, social scheduling tools, front-end website development/editing tools, marketing automation tools, CRM, EDM tools, and design tools like Adobe and Canva Pro.
- Strong organisational skills, including the ability to set priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work effectively under pressure with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience in the international development sector preferred but not essential.
