Tetra Tech Disaster Recovery Team is currently hiring Onboarding Specialist. This position is 100% remote.
As an Onboarding Specialist at Tetra Tech, you play a vital role in ensuring the smooth integration of new hires into our organization. You will manage the complete onboarding process, from extending offers and updating onboarding statuses to coordinating training details and confirming new hires for their scheduled sessions. Your meticulous attention to detail and proactive communication skills are essential in providing a seamless transition for each new employee, contributing to our commitment to operational excellence and employee satisfaction.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Extending offers
- Helping new hires through their paperwork.
- Updating onboarding status.
- Following up with new hires that have not accepted their offers or that are missing tasks.
- Sending welcome emails,
- Confirming training via email or verbally.
- Ability to learn project-specific computer systems as needed.
- Ability to multi-task, such as toggling between computer applications while on the phone.
- Ability to talk to large numbers of people for extended periods.
- Always maintain a professional demeanor.
- Effectively interact with individuals from various cultures and backgrounds.
- Ability to work a weekend day (Saturday or Sunday).
- Ability to work long hours (approximately 10 to 12 hours a day).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
It is understood that your employment will be on an "at will" basis. This position with Tetra Tech is temporary and on an "as-needed" basis and will end once the project is complete.
