***Mixed unit PCU, Med Surg Tele and Med Surg travelers will have all levels Position / Specialty: Ren 5 Acute - PCU Start date: Ratios: 1:4 all shifts Years of experience REQ: 1 year First-timers accepted: (Y/N): Yes Weekend REQ: Yes – every other, Nights Shift is Friday & Saturday Evenings. Certs REQ: ACLS, BCLS, and NIH Is on-call REQ? (Y/N) What is the req? Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes - Floating within service line, floating between Toledo, Flower, Bay Park, & Wildwood facilities as needed. Float Units: Neuro/ Stroke, Cardiac, Orthopedic, Trauma, Oncology, General Surg, Uro/Vascular, Observatio Open to accommodating block schedule? (Y/N): No Locals accepted: (Y/N) What is the local radius rule? No local travelers 50 miles or less Pending License accepted: (Y/N): No RTO Restrictions: Greater than 3 days will require Management approval Guaranteed Hours: 36 Special Requirements: -Patient Age Group: Adults - Patient Diagnoses • CHF • COPD • ColoRectal • GI bleeds/ SBO • Covid • Pneumonia • Cystic fibrosis - Special Procedures/Unit Details • Bariatric surgery patients • Hepatobiliary surgeries • colorectal surgeries • ***Mixed unit PCU, Med Surg Tele and Med Surg - Work Settings • Telemetry - Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response • Interpretation of dysrhythmias • Management of dysrhythmias - Gastrointestinal • Feeding tube care and management – preferred - IV Therapy/Phlebotomy • Central line care/management • Peripheral Line Care/Management - Plastics • Nasal Cannula • Non-invasive airway management - Computerized Charting • EPIC – preferred Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Level I trauma center and the largest acute care hospital in the Toledo metropolitan area Magnet / Teaching / Level Trauma (if applicable): Level 1 trauma center Total Staffed Beds: 39 Scrub Color: Charting: EPIC - required Parking Cost: Free Schedules are subject to change based on staffing needs; two-week notice will be given by the facility for a change in schedule.
