Along with specialty oncology and surgical training, nurses on this unit will obtain their chemotherapy/immunotherapy administration certification within one year of hire. Nurses in this unit must be skilled in helping patients and families navigate all stages of their cancer diagnosis, including end-of-life. The services of Salem Health Cancer Institute and Salem Health's Palliative Care team are integrated with this unit to create a holistic approach to the care of oncology patients throughout the entire course of the cancer treatment. Do not submit if they candidate does not have the below will be an auto reject: •BLS through AHA •Interpretation of dysrhythmias •Management of dysrhythmias •O2 Protocol •Non-invasive airway management •Peripheral line care/management •Isolation precaution/PPE •Rapid response team activation •Computerized documentation •Patient ratios: o RN 1:4-6 o CNA 1:6-13 on days and 1:10-13 on nights •1 year of experience within the last three years in MS/Tele
