Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Thomasville, North Carolina.

RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years Traveler Experience: Must have travel experience (no 1st time travelers) Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: Vents, IV Start, PA Lines, Telemetry. Certs: ACLS, BCLS and NIH. PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: CCRN and PALS. JOB DETAILS: Target Ratios: 1:2-3. Could fluctuate based on unit needs/surges. Shift: 12HR NIGHTS 36 hours can be offered. Will accept 13 -26 week contracts. RTO: 7 days MAX (prefer no more than 3 days) Float Requirement: Float required – will be included in a float rotation schedule and will float to Med Surg to help cover when needed. In crisis needs, traveler may be asked/required to float to other units to assist with care as well. Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend. PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Medical and surgical intermediate and critical care level patients. UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR SCHEDULING TYPE: Unit leadership schedules per needs. UNIT ORIENTATION: 12 hours Hospital Orientation week one; traveler must be available for classes each day. SCRUBS: Navy blue or white or combination of navy/white *** INTERNAL NOTES *** Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
