• You should have 2-3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably with a construction equipment background.
• Experience with diesel and gas engines, electrical, pneumatic systems, hydraulics, as well as drive trains is required. 
• Experience performing preventative maintenance and major repairs on hydraulic, electrical, ignition, pneumatic systems is necessary. 
• Must have the necessary tools you need to do the job; your hands will only get you so far. ($10,000 in valued preferred)
• High quality control. Respect your work and make it known.
• Solving problems and troubleshooting go hand-in-hand in this role.
