Regional HR Business Partner Sunstate Equipment Co.: Where Safety and People are Core Values We care about our People and it shows!   Hiring Immediately; Base salary range for this position is between $135,000-175,000. Pay dependent on experience; PAID WEEKLY! Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday Sunstate's Advantages

Duties and Responsibilities:  Sunstate is a proud Second Chance employer that evaluates every candidate on a case-by-case basis.
  • People Relations:  Build trust-based relationships with leaders and employees that allow us to advise & guide our teams

    • Offer thought leadership on driving business results through people.
    • Provide timely information and/or education for all levels of a company on HR issues.
    • Educate, coach, and partner with managers on performance management and employee development goals.
    • Provide HR expertise in the areas of feedback, employee relations, development, coaching, compensation, and training.
  • People & Talent Management: Identify and implement talent management programs that enhance the capabilities of our teams (e.g., TA, performance, career, & leadership development)
    • Develop people strategies at the regional/market level and design approaches for diagnosing and enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.
    • Lead management teams in organizational assessment and diagnosis to turn business strategies into action.
    • Partner with People Services and market leadership to develop and implement effective HR policies and practices to support the strategic growth of the business.
    • Participate with People Services leadership in the strategy creation for HR programs such as recruiting retention, compensation, and training.
    • Partner with Learning & Development to work on value-added programs in the areas of training, development, career mobility, succession planning, performance management, etc.
    • Educate managers and employees on compensation practices, including using merit guidelines, pay for performance, performance calibration, and career transitions.
  • Employee Experience: Listen to our people at each stage of the employee life cycle, identify what matters most, and personalize their experience
    • Collaborate with the People Services Organization and local leadership to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver top business results.
    • Lead core HR process implementation across respective markets (performance calibration, compensation cycle, promotions, etc.) while providing a positive employee experience.
    • Make decisions that effectively incorporate the regional/market perspective while considering impact to the entire organization. Collaborate as necessary across functional team to provide a positive employee experience.
  • People Analytics: Leverage insights to see trends in the data and recommend targeted solutions
    • Analyze and interpret various types of employee reports (i.e., compensation, turnover, overtime, job levels, etc.) to guide decision-making and provide proactive solutions to managers.

Position Requirements

  • Solid business acumen with the ability to understand the company and its challenges to help address the organizational and talent needs.
  • Must be able to work at all levels across the HR “stack” – strategic, operational, and tactical while being able to influence effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Fluent at navigating ambiguity, recognizing when it is appropriate to introduce more structure and process without slowing down operations.  
  • Deep knowledge of HR programs and practices, including applicable state and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Critical thinker with success in developing innovative solutions to business issues.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to adjust to specific audience.  
  • Demonstrated credibility and integrity in communication information flows upward and downward timely and succinctly.
  • High integrity and safeguard compliance standards and company values.
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex issues and prioritize projects concurrently.
  • Provide and demonstrate employee experience change management leadership.
  • Ability to understand and leverage business strategy to align People Service initiatives.
  • Ability to coach and guide other HR professionals through complex situations.
