Description
The Operations Associate for ReOrg processes a variety of reorganization duties. In this role, the Operations Associate learns and preforms entry level Reorganization department and direct business clerical duties. The Operations Associate also verifies and communicates discrepancies in the workflow as they work under direct supervision following established procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service and critical thinking skills.
What We're Looking For
- Process voluntary expiring tender offers.
- Processes mandatory mergers and name changes to include adjusting all applicable changes to stock record positions.
- Monitors syndicate loan settlements.
- Monitors all available resources for future reorganization information.
- Issues appropriate instructions to the depositories, transfer agents and/or other Broker/Dealers.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
What You'll Bring
- Ability to learn general understanding of rules/regulations and Stifel policies that pertain to the department.
- Initiative and self-direction when performing tasks with ability to organize and prioritize effectively in order to meet deadlines.
- Able to handle large workload that varies based on projects and heavy volume periods.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate's degree preferred.
- 1+ years' professional business related experience required.
Systems & Technology
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook. #LI-AS1
