Description
The Operations Associate performs data entry, math calculations and compiles data. Verifies and communicates discrepancies in the workflow and works under direct supervision and follows established procedures.
What We're Looking For
Receives assignment of work and processes in a timely manner, in accordance with departmental policy procedures.
Communicates with branch personnel and counterparties via telephone and email.
Compiles, copies, sorts, and files records of office activities, and business transactions. Processes, creates, and enters data into the department systems for internal/external reporting.
Adds historical performance data upon request.
Reconciles data from various systems or from account statements.
Assists with review of transactions and accounts held on various systems.
What You'll Bring
Ability to learn general understanding of rules/regulations and Stifel policies that pertain to the department.
Initiative and self-direction when performing tasks with ability to organize and prioritize effectively in order to meet deadlines.
Able to handle large workload that varies based on projects and heavy volume periods.
Time management, attention to detail, and customer service skills needed.
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
1+ years' professional business related experience preferred.
Systems & Technology
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
