Schedule Information
• Shifts & Scheduling: 07-1930 1900-0730
• Six weeks at a time
• Self-scheduling, balanced then reviewed by the manager
• Weekend Requirement: May be working a lot of Sundays
• Weekends are a high need right now
• Holiday Requirement: Rotate with permanent staff

Unit Specific Information
• Unit: Medical ICU/PCU Float
• # of beds: 24
• Ratios: 1:1, 1:2 for ICU level acuity, 1:3-4 for PCU level acuity
• Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Sepsis, COPSD, Covid, pneumonia, CRRT, Arctic sun for post cardiac arrest patients
• Experience or 'Must have' skills: Management of Swans, Prismaflex CRRT, IABP, Arctic Sun
• Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Yes, charge and resource nurse on every shift
• Are there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios: CNA's 1:8 ratio
• Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: In house 24/7
• RT in ICU 24/7: Dedicated to ICU 24/7
• RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc): All, CPAP, BiPAP, Vents
• Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips? Yes. Offsite central monitoring

• Float Rate: $20/hr
