- General Certification Requirements: BLS for Healthcare worker, N95 fit tested
- Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements: ARRT in MR. Washington State Radiologic Technologist License if candidate is ARRT certified in X-Ray or Computed Tomography
- NOTE: If TRAVELER has an ARRT MR only, they do not need a WA state license

- A hospital in Washington is looking for an experienced MRI for a travel contract.
- Orientation/Education Hours: Orientation/education hours are not guaranteed during the first 2 weeks of your assignment. Expect 25+ hours.
- Job Requirements
- The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience.
- Hold an active BLS and WA License.
- IV skills required.
- Schedule Information
- Shifts & Scheduling: Varying
- Weekend Requirement: Varying
- Holiday Requirement: Participate in the holiday rotation
- Call or Standby requirement: Participate in the standby rotation
- Friday-Sunday 830a-9p
- Unit Specific Information
- How many scanners/rooms does this department have? Two at the Main Hospital - and Three outpatient clinics
- Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: Brain, neck, Spine, Chest, Abd, Pelvis, Breast, Cardiac, Prostate, MSK, Imaging patients with Implanted devices and researching them prior to Imaging.
- Experience or 'Must have' skills: Not required but encouraged having experience in MRI Cardiac, Breast and Breast Biopsy MRI.
- Average # of scans/studies per day: 28
- EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) they use: EPIC and Sectra PACS
- Department Specific Equipment: 'Main Hospital GE 1.5T & 3T; Outpatient Clinics: Philips, Hitachi'
- Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? Radiology Aides assist MRI Technologists
- Radiologist in-house? Yes
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided? Personal Scrubs. Hospital Scrubs provided only to OR staff
