    Job Details
  • Critical Access hospital in Idaho is looking for an ER nurse to start ASAP!
  • This position is for 12 hour nights for 13 weeks.
  • Very traveler friendly hospital!
    Job Requirements
  • Must have BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
  • Will accept first time traveler if they have 3 years of experience in specialty
  • Will accept 1 year of experience but need to have experience at critical access hospital, community hospital, or small level 3 or 4 trauma hospital.
  • Must be able to work independently with limited resources, and have good time management skills.
  • Must be able to titrate on drip and provide conscious sedation; blood products.
  • Must be able to read and interpret tele and document it appropriately
    Schedule Information
  • 12s from 7-7
  • Self-schedule, but not finalized until balanced by management;
  • Willing to work with travelers on scheduling;
  • Cannot guarantee block scheduling or set schedules
  • Every Other Weekend
  • Nights- Fri & Sat, Days- Sat & Sun
  • Holiday requirements: May be asked to go in the holiday rotation
  • No call or standby requirement mentioned
    Unit Specific Information
  • Trauma Level? STEMI Receiving? Stroke Center? - Non-Trauma, no STEMI, stroke
  • Experience or 'Must have' skills - Experience at a critical access or community hospital or small level 3 or 4 trauma hospital
  • Common drips - Experience with medications
  • Charge Nurse/House Supervisor - Charge Nurse does not take an assignment
  • Nurse aids/EMT/Paramedics/Patient Sitters - None available
  • RT Equipment - Nurses are required to manage respiratory equipment until RT arrives
  • Scrub Color/Dress Code - RNs- Any color but Maroon. RNs usually wear navy
  • Unit/Department specific orientation - 1 shift with preceptors
    Additional Details
  • Must be able to work independently and need to be self sufficient
  • ED physician will most likely be sleeping during night shift and called when patient arrives (They work a 24/7 shift)
