- Certification Details
- Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE
- Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift: Charge RN doesn't take assignments (travelers would not be in the charge RN role).
- Job Details
- A hospital in Western Idaho is in need of NICU RN's to work a 13 week travel assignment.
- The nurses will be working 12 hour shifts.
- Job Requirements
- If travelers only nursing experience is in NICU 2 years experience is required, if traveler has other RN experience 1 year experience is required.
- Are RNs required to titrate drips: Yes.
- Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Morphine, Dopamine, Epinephrine.
- Schedule Information
- Shifts & Scheduling: 07-19 (Day shift), 19-07 (Night shift). No self-scheduling, scheduler works with traveler to schedule. No more than 5 shifts in a row.
- Weekend Requirement: Will be used to fill in where there is a need.
- Holiday Requirement: Yes if there is a need.

- Unit: NICU - Floor 2
- Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:1-3
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Prematurity 22 weeks and above, respiratory distress (Nava, Cpap, vents), surgical patients (trachs, g-tubes, shunts, hernia repairs), Feeder/growers.
- Neonatologist in house 24/7: Yes, NNP and neonatologist 24/7.
- RT Equipment: Drager, Servo, HFJV, HFOV, Nava, Cpap, Nasal Cannula.
