Job Details
• 13-week contract duration
• Unit: Anatomic Cytology Services Boise Hospital Flr 1 - Histo Tech
• Experience or 'Must have' skills & common job duties: Must have 2 years experience as a Histology Tech, must be certified. Will be embedding, cutting, and staining. On average cut around 1500 slides per day and average around 500 blocks per day.

Job Requirements

• Ok with a first time traveler.

Schedule Information
• 8 hour shifts Mon-Sat. Variable start times anywhere from 0400-1900.
• If needed may work an 8 hour Saturday shift.
• 8 hour shifts Monday thru Friday 5am to 130pm - No weekends

Unit Specific Information
• Unit: Anatomic Cytology Services Boise Hospital Flr 1 - Histo Tech.
• Generalist required.

Additional Details
• LIS Tracking System: EPIC- experience preferred.
• EMR system: EPIC- experience preferred.
• Other specific equipment: Leica Microtomes.
• No holiday requirements.
• Scrubs or business casual- lab coats provided.
• About 1 week of unit/department specific orientation.
• This facility has a radius rule of 50 miles. Confirmation of candidates' perm address required for adherence to this rule before proceeding with profile review.
