- Orientation/Education Hours: Orientation/education hours are not guaranteed during the first 2 week of your assignment. Expect 25+ hours.
- A hospital in Washington is looking for an experienced ICU RN for a travel contract.
- The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS and WA License.
- Pending license needed to submit.
- Temp license takes approximately 4 weeks.

- Schedule Information
- Weekend Requirement: Days - Saturday and Sunday. Nights - Friday and Saturday. Every other weekend.
- Holidays: Yes, rotate with perm staff.
- Shifts: 7a-7p.7p-7a Self Scheduling 6 weeks at a time.
- Unit Specific Information
- Medical ICU
- Ratios: ICU 1:1, 1:2, PCU 1:3
- EMR: EPIC
- Charge Nurse: Yes 1/floor
- Nurse Aides: 2/floor
- Drips: All ICU level gtts
- Vents: Yes
- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Dayshift on site, nights available via virtual ICU and also has an ARNP for procedures in house overnight. Surgery residents etc.
- IV Team: yes
- RT 24/7: yes
- Pharmacy 24/7: yes
- Floating: Float eligible between all ICU's and PCU.
- Floor specific orientation: Planning on 1 week with an educator at max, minimum of 2 shifts.
- Common diagnosis/Types of patients: All critical care dx
- Additional Questions: Do not require travelers to take IABP or CRRT unless they have that experience. Looking for strong Med Surg RN's. All travelers are required to have 2 years of experience in their specialty.

- No Vents in PCU. PCU drips to include cardizem, nitro, insulin, heparin. No Pressors.
