SS&C is the largest global investor service provider, servicing more than 55 million investors. Continually investing in global technology and services across the spectrum of distribution channels including: Asset Managers, Financial Advisors, Wealth Managers and large financial institutions such as Banks and Insurers. Investor servicing is offered in many different countries, including the U.S., Canada, U.K., Ireland, Luxembourg, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore. SS&C also services mutual fund structures in many other fund domiciles.
Global Investor and Distribution Solutions (GIDS) is the business unit offering this role. GIDS delivers global omni-channel investor servicing, including contact centre, using digital services.
About the Role
To configure and provide technical assistance in order to support the development enhancement of Chorus core products and surround technologies looking for innovation opportunities where/when possible. Liaise with clients (internal/external) and business community in order to gather requirements and to formulate solutions ensuring they are fit for purpose and best practices are followed. Act as an escalation reference point for Business Analyst and support them through the build lifecycle.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver solutions which support the business requirements ensuring adherence to design and coding standards.
- Engage in parallel development for releases and client builds.
- Produce technical designs when required and review technical designs produced by other team members recommending improvements or potential alternative courses of action.
- Act as a primary technical support within the build team demonstrating a source of expertise.
- Ensure that any documents that relate to the development and release are available/provided and easily accessible to build team members.
- Responsible for High Level Estimation of design/test.
- Demonstrate accountability for defect resolution raised by business associates providing timely fixes and updates whist running the release.
- Represent the Chorus Build Team within meetings and workshops within Senior Management team and external client forums.

- Experience of Chorus
- Experience of Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Proven track record in problem solving
- Possess good analytical and technical skills
- Possess good decision making with confidence and no impact
- Possess Leadership and Coaching skills
- Possess good communication skills and adapt communication style to suit different audience
