What You Will Get To Do:
We are seeking a talented and motivated person to join our team at SS&C as a Project Manager.
In this role, you will:
- Provide a process to coordinate activities to achieve a desired product, process, or service at the right time, for the right customer(s), within the resource limits.
- Manage or coordinate activities in support of a project, with distinct deliverables, start and end dates, budget and resources.
- Implement strategy, business objectives, customer requests, performance, and operational enhancements.
- Apply knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities to meet or exceed business and stakeholder needs and expectations.
- Lead complex projects or work on complex tasks that require a high degree of judgement, resourcefulness, and self-initiative.
- Demonstrate specialized expertise to evaluate wide-ranging and complex issues and develop creative solutions.
- Recommend new procedures around the project governing framework and internal stakeholder.
SS&C provides training, covering the securities industry, database and networking technologies as well as our portfolio management and reporting products, including tools used for creating customizations. Once settled in you will work closely with our clients and the entire team at SS&C, across business functions and regions. The work is rewarding, yet presents new challenges every day. Roles & Responsibilities:
·Lead all implementation project/program for all APAC clients by applying globally aligned project governing framework.
·Involve in solution scoping, estimate implementation projects and price for prospects in collaboration with Sales and Solutions Consulting.
·Negotiate rates for implementation tasks with clients.
.Plan project timeline with budgeted hours and resources.
.Track and monitor the time spent on project tasks.
.Review and approve consultants' time and expenses.
.Manage project scope and changes.
.Engage internal and external stakeholders to provide timely report on project status, risks and issues.
.Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
.Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.
.Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes.
.Assist in dispute, negotiation, arbitration or litigation, as needed.
.Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication.
.Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards.
.Extensive understanding of project and program management principles, methods and techniques
What You Will Bring:
- A Prince II or PMP or equivalent is desired
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills with a strong attention to detail are required
- Minimally requires a Master's degree and 6 years of related experience or Bachelor's degree and 10 years of related experience.
- Experience with complex enterprise level software applications or financial technology solution for Portfolio Management, Fund Accounting, Prime Broker or OMS is a plus.
- Local language is a plus.
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
- Strong & proven leadership skill and mentorship
- Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
- Research best practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data and use continuous process improvement disciplines to achieve results
- Strong IT/technical skills (Cloud, MS Windows, SQL, UNIX, data integration, data conversions,) is a great plus.
- Strong time and resource management skills.
