What You Will Get To Do:
This is a high-impact leadership role, responsible for guiding the strategic direction of business analysis, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical execution, and driving the development and enhancement of our products. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in business analysis, financial services, and working with cross-functional teams within an Agile digital product environment.
• Global remit
• Hands on approach
• Ensure that Digital product requirements are created and maintained - specifically: journey mapping, workflows, architecture diagrams, data mapping
• Sequencing and prioritisation – Discovery/Analysis ensuring that we are ready for the next delivery phase – including preparing HLEs, impediments/dependencies
• Responsible for managing the handover from Solutions Consultancy
What You Will Bring:
Leadership & Strategy:
• Team Management – Lead and manage a team of business analysts, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to foster growth and innovation.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership for the business analysis team, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
• Strategic input – provide strategic input to senior leadership, advising on business analysis trends, tools, and techniques to support organisational transformation.
• Developing Policies and standards – drive and create a framework, organisational policies, standards and guidelines for Business Analysis methods and tools and strive for continuous improvement.
• Community of Practice (CoP) – Promote and establish a CoP within the organisation.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
• Cross Leadership team communication – engage with Development and Delivery teams' leadership to ensure that analysis priorities are aligned with client priority.
• Client Stakeholder management – ensuring regular communication with client stakeholders to ensure requirements are managed accordingly.
• Strategic Analysis – Collaborate with senior stakeholders to establish and prioritise business priorities, gather requirements ensuring these are translated into actionable technical and functional requirements.
• Effectively communicate complex business needs and requirements to technical teams in a clear and actionable format.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring transparent and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Project Governance – ensuring expected project governance is in place identifying status of active projects, RAID and project updates are documented and communicated across teams.
Product Development & Innovation:
• Lead the requirements gathering process, defining business objectives, functional specifications, and user stories for platform features and enhancements.
• Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and development teams to ensure that product solutions meet user needs, are scalable, and deliver a superior user experience.
• Analyse and assess market trends, customer feedback, and competitor platforms
