Get To Know the Team: 

As the Director of End User Computing, you will be both a leader and a hands-on technical expert, managing and supporting the company's desktop and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) in a global and highly complex environment. You will lead a team of engineers and administrators to design, automate, and maintain cloud and on-premises desktop environments using Git, Terraform, Artifactory, and Intune. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python), Active Directory, and API integrations, and will thrive in a fast-paced, cloud-based environment requiring strong networking knowledge.

What you will get to do:

• Hands-On Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage Desktop as a Service (DaaS) environments using Terraform and Git to automate virtual desktops and applications. This includes actively troubleshooting and improving desktop and application performance.
• Manage Device Configuration with Intune: Administer Microsoft Intune for endpoint management, device compliance, and security policy enforcement across all user devices, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
• Automation and CI/CD Pipelines: Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Git and Artifactory to automate infrastructure deployment and updates. Implement version control and manage automated testing for configurations and scripts.
• API Integration and Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and Python, leveraging APIs to integrate systems, automate tasks, and retrieve data from third-party services and cloud providers.
• Active Directory and Entra ID Management: Oversee Active Directory (AD) and Entra ID for user access management, authentication, group policies, and security compliance. Manage complex group structures, permissions, and integrations with cloud services.
• Network Understanding: Apply a strong understanding of complex network environments, including VPNs, firewall configurations, VLANs, and DNS, to ensure secure, seamless access to virtual desktops and applications across global offices.
• Security and Compliance Implementation: Implement multi-factor authentication and manage secure credential storage to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Team Leadership and Mentoring: Lead a team of engineers while being actively involved in hands-on problem-solving, ensuring that team members adhere to best practices for cloud desktop management, automation, and security.
• Scripting for Automation: Write and review scripts in PowerShell and Python to automate administrative tasks such as user provisioning, infrastructure scaling, and application deployment.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Use monitoring tools like to oversee performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uptime and responsiveness of desktop services and infrastructure.
• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with IT, DevOps, and Security teams to align infrastructure and security policies with operational needs.

What you will bring:

• Minimally requires a master's degree and 8 years of related experience, or Bachelor's degree and 10 years of related experience, or high school degree and 12 years of related experience.
• Related experience in IT infrastructure management, with extensive hands-on experience in cloud-based desktop virtualization, DaaS, or end-user computing in a large enterprise.
• 3+ years of leadership experience, including hands-on involvement in technical operations, mentoring engineers, and leading projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with Git and Terraform: Experience managing version control, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments using Git and Terraform.
• Proficiency in scripting languages: Strong knowledge of PowerShell and Python for automation, system administration, and interacting with APIs.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune: Hands-on experience managing devices and enforcing compliance policies using Microsoft Intune.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and Artifactory: Experience using Artifactory for managing artifacts in continuous integration and delivery environments.
• Deep understanding of Active Directory: Expertise in managing Active Directory (AD), Group Policies, and Entra ID.
• Experience with complex network environments: Understanding of enterprise networking principles such as firewalls, VPNs, DNS, and load balancing in a global environment.
• API experience: Ability to interact with and integrate APIs via code, automating tasks and improving workflows through custom solutions.
• Security Experience: Strong understanding of multi-factor authentication, encryption, and secure access management.
• Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable desktop environments.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities: Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues, especially in complex or multi-cloud environments.
