- The Registered Nurse (RN) incorporates the appropriate assessment and intervention skills, utilizing the nursing process, in the delivery of nursing care on their unit for a specified group of patients on a designated shift.
- The RN communicates with patients, team members, and management in an accurate and timely manner using written and verbal skills effectively and considerately.
- The RN promotes compassionate, efficient, cost-effective, and quality patient care.
- The RN incorporates teaching principles into practice and demonstrates competence in health promotion and disease prevention.
- The RN demonstrates qualities consistent with the role applying leadership skills appropriately.
- The RN uses critical thinking and data collection systematically in the delivery of nursing care on their unit for a specified group of patients on a designated shift.
- The RN incorporates the appropriate assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation in their nursing process.
- The RN develops and maintains human care relationships and integrates the influence of the human experience of health, illness, and/or healing.
- The RN applies knowledge integration skills for the patient populations served within the Inpatient Care Unit.
- Job Requirements
- 2 Med/Surg Experience - Preferred
- Graduate from Accredited School of Nursing - Required
- BLS (AHA) - Required
