Description
Location: MCI Shirley - Shirley, MA. Secured Adjustment Unit and Behavior Assessment Unit Programs
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm. Willing to work evenings and weekends per program needs
Pay rate: $61,000-$63,000/annually

Qualifications:
- Master's degree and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC-1) or Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or closely related license in the fields of addiction or mental health required.
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in counseling preferred
- Minimum of three years of experience in a substance abuse, mental health, or other related behavioral health program required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
- Must display the use of appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies
- Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with clients, families, staff and regulatory agencies
The Assistant Program Director is responsible for:
- Supervising the implementation and delivery of program and case management services within the designated sites, services and modalities
- Ensuring program services are delivered in accordance with evidence- based practices and Spectrum's best practices
- Ensuring service elements foster an atmosphere of customer service and excellence in service delivery
- Ensuring that all program staff is highly trained and proficient in the delivery of service elements.
