Qualifications
Required qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly or willing to take a CI Poly
- Experience in the Intelligence Community
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of demonstrated performance related to tasks above (or Associate's with 8+ years, or 15+ years of demonstrated performance in related tasks)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to do independent research, which requires reading and digesting complex information
- Ability to excel as a member of a collaborative team through open communication, transparency, and flexibility.
- Ability to relate professionally with senior Government customers and colleagues
Desired qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
- Master's degree with 5+ years of demonstrated performance in related tasks
- Demonstrated knowledge of NRO enterprise policy and strategy regarding workforce requirements for IT, IA, and IM compliance requirements; relevant proven skills in project and data management, data analysis, and ability to translate findings into strategic and tactical recommendations.
- Certifications related to functional responsibilities, such as those specified in DoD 8570.01M and/or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
- Knowledge of DoD 8570.01M or any subsequent
Responsibilities
As a member of the COLOSSUS Enterprise Planning and Management team, you will support our customer's policy, governance, and compliance functions. The COLOSSUS team provides SETA support for our customer's strategic planning, enterprise architecture, investment planning, policy and governance functions, in addition to general SETA support to government leadership teams. You will work with members from across the COLOSSUS team as well as government, FFRDC, and SETA personnel. Being on the Policy, Governance, and Compliance team, you will support the program overseeing compliance with IT-IA-IM policies and the established processes to manage that compliance. Specific activities can include:
- Manage IT-IA-IM training and certification requirements in accordance with DoD, IC and NRO policies and requirements, as needed.
- Manage the IT-IA-IM waiver process, working with information from all relevant stakeholders to ensure system and user compliance with established policies, as needed.
- Ensure changes to DoD and IC policies are incorporated into the organization Information Assurance Workforce Enhancement Program (IAWEP) and/or Defense Cyber Workforce (DCWF) policies, by keeping abreast of DoD and IC strategic goals and priorities.
- Support Audit Remediation activities between with all oversight bodies including the Office of Inspector General (OIG), regarding resolution of audit, inspection and special review findings.
- Support review of Inspector General Final published reports, clarify Findings and Recommendations and ensure assignment to appropriate OPRs.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings with OPRs to ensure consistent collaboration and to ensure concerns are addressed in a timely manner.
- Facilitate execution of the Inspector General audit remediation process on behalf of the CIO; ensure users understand the PO&AM format, due dates and other requirements for status reporting.
- Support execution of the quarterly IG Audit Remediation Meeting to include building agenda items, slides and pre-briefs to senior leadership.
- Support preparation of bi-weekly Watchlist Metrics to reflect open audit and inspection recommendations; prepare white paper analysis of the data.
- Research and prepare advice, information, and reports on policy, governance, and compliance matters to facilitate informed decision making and planning by senior government leadership.
- Lead and contribute to projects to inform decision making and support achievement of organizational objectives.
- Tailor best practices for customer use with the aim of optimizing business processes.
- Maintain and enhance process metrics, including collection, analysis, and reporting methods.
