Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- DoD SECRET clearance (with eligibility for DoD TOP SECRET) OR be able to obtain and maintain clearance while employed with SPA (must be U.S. citizen).
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- 0-3 years of engineering experience.
- Experience supporting projects and teams.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering tools and modeling languages (UML, SysML).
- Experience with MATLAB.
- Experience with DoD acquisition programs.
- Interim or final TOP SECRET security clearance or ability to obtain one.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will conduct systems engineering and analysis with a focus on the physical security of nuclear weapons and supporting infrastructure located at Strategic Weapons Facilities overseen by the U.S. Navy's Strategic Systems Programs office. The candidate will support efforts to document system requirements, develop system requirements traceability, develop system models, support trade studies for system level analysis, and facilitate client engagements.
