Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, prefereably in engineering or another (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) STEM field.
  • Active SECRET or higher DoD security clearance.
  • 3+ years of professional experience providing risk management support on DoD programs.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and execute workload to meet requirements and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment conducting analysis with partial and evolving data sets.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in DoD/DON acquisition, program planning, strategic planning, and/or risk assessment/tracking, or 5+ years of military service.
  • Experience presenting and communicating the results of analysis to project stakeholders and senior leadership, including Senior Military Officers.
  • Capable of breaking down complex issues into simplified problem statements and laying out objective approaches to identify and compare the merits of competing solutions.
  • Active DoD TOP SECRET security clearance.
  • Master's Degree in engineering or a related field.


Responsibilities

The candidate will provide technical and programmatic support to activities supporting the Nuclear-Armed, Sea-Launched Cruise Missile (SLCM-N) Program. The candidate will be responsible for serving as an Action Officer including the coordination and execution of planning meetings and client projects in support of Program/Risk Management activities. They will also work to gather information from various sources and conduct analysis of that information to inform program decisions. Additionally, they will be responsible for presenting results to peers and senior leadership within client and partner organizations.

 

The Program Analyst will spend the majority of their time at Maritime Plaza with frequent trips to the Washington Navy Yard. Some telework may be possible after an initial training period and when workload supports.
