Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance or TS/SCI Eligible status
  • Earned Master of Arts or Science in relevant technical disciplines, such as Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, physics, or operations research. (A Bachelor's degree is acceptable if applicant has at least 12 years of experience in this type of position or program.)
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant T&E experience
  • Working experience in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or system engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments
  • Experience with and strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle (SELC) and of U.S. Air Force and/or U.S. Space Force T&E policies, practices, processes, and procedures

Responsibilities

A Senior T&E Engineer shall be:

  • An expert in Air Force, Space Force, and SSC science and technology processes and procedures for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting on space control relevant technology thrusts, spanning academia, industry, or other government agencies.
  • An expert in ACAT-like test and evaluation planning and execution for developmental and operational testing activities.
  • Highly knowledgeable in design and development of entire space systems, including subcomponents.
  • Knowledgeable of modeling, simulation, and study activities.
  • Expert in analyzing and assessing technologies against known architectural capability gaps to determine feasibility of transition into programs of record.
