Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior System Engineer to support NAVSEA program office charged with the planning and management for all stages of a major acquisition program.  Responsibilities will include strategic planning and coordination of program wide activities; ensuring compliance with DoD Acquisition Framework requirements; supporting the Acquisition Director in development of integrated budgets and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submittals; developing and implementing office and organizational administrative policies and procedures; and collaborating directly with the Acquisition Director to determine and prioritize objectives.

 

This position is located at SPA HQ in Alexandria, VA with some opportunity for light telework.  Local weekly travel to Manassas, VA and the Washington Navy Yard is required.  There may be opportunities for periodic trips outside of the DC area to support customer meetings. There may be an opportunity to supervise up to five SPA personnel, if desired.
