Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of six years of system administrator experience including experience within a Linux environment
- Ability to work additional hours, when needed, to meet client requirements
Minimum DOD 8140/D0D 8570 IAT Level I Certification and TS/SCI Eligibility with active Counterintelligence or Full Scope Polygraph
Responsibilities
In-depth demonstrated experience commensurate with the designated level in the following areas:
Responsible for systems administration of services for hardware and software applications. Open source and virtual networking technologies, working with high performance 1/10/40GbE switches, various network protocols (i.e. routing protocols, TCP, VoIP, Mobile/Cellular, tunneling protocols/VPNs, DNS, and application layer protocols), network protocol and communication design and implementation, designing, installing, maintaining and troubleshooting Local Area Networks, Wide Area Networks and data communications equipment, and software defined networks (SDN) and wide area networks (SDWAN).
In this role, you may be required to work an extended work week to support operational needs. The Government will strive to provide advanced notice of these support needs whenever possible.
