Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree.
- 7+ years of relevant work experience.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Experience staffing and briefing senior-leadership at the Flag Officer, General Officer, and Senior Executive Service-level.
Desired:
- 5+ years of experience relevant experience leading teams of 20 or more personnel.
- 5+ years of experience managing cost, schedule, and performance of programs exceeding $20M in total value.
- 5+ years of experience supporting Headquarters-level DoD organizations including the Joint Staff, Defense Agencies, Services, Major Commands, or Combatant Commands.
- Knowledge and expertise in one or more of the following: Acquisition Pathways and Policy; Defense Business Systems; or Intellectual Property.
Responsibilities
The candidate will support API as the Program Manager for a 15-to-20 person contractor team working across multiple API functions. The Program Manager will be responsible for coordinating the transition after contract award; serve as the primary point-of-contact for official communications and interactions with the Government Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer's Representative; oversee the contractor team and subcontractor performance; manage work distribution among the contractor team; and ensure on- and off-boarding of personnel. Will also provide direct support to API for tasks including meeting planning, coordination, and execution to facilitate offsites, industry days, conferences, and other events. This will include scheduling, coordinating, and preparing for meetings; developing and disseminating agendas, briefings, event materials, and post-meeting summaries and minutes; and tracking the status of action items to completion.
