Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience
- Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and retain a CBP Background Investigation
- Experience in program control, financial analysis, or government contracting
- Proficiency in financial management tools and ERP systems (e.g., Deltek Costpoint, SAP)
- Strong Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, and financial modeling
- Able to work fully onsite based on client needs
Desired:
- Active DHS Suitability or CBP Background Investigation
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles
- Prior experience supporting DHS or other Federal contracts
Responsibilities
The candidate will develop, maintain, and analyze program budgets, financial forecasts, and variance reports. Track and report Program/Project funding, expenditures, and project burn rates. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including Estimate at Completion (EAC) and Estimate to Complete (ETC). Support invoicing, spend plans, and financial trend analysis. Collaborate with program managers to ensure financial performance aligns with program objectives. Monitor and report cost, schedule, and performance metrics against program/project baselines. Develop and present financial status reports to stakeholders, including leadership and customers. Maintain and update financial systems and tools to improve efficiency in program control activities. Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making.
