Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical field
- TS/SCI Clearance
- 15+ years of experience
- Demonstrated operational or programmatic experience with PNT systems and their control segments (GPS IIR, GPS IIF, GPS III, M-Code, OCX, etc.)
- Demonstrated expertise with the Defense Acquisition System; Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE); Program Management, and DoD Business Processes
- Must have a professional demeanor, strong writing and oral communication skills, and the the ability to proactively and independently coordinate with PNT stakeholders across the DoD
Responsibilities
SPA is seeking an experienced Program Analyst to support OSD oversight of the Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) mission area. The PNT Senior Analyst will provide onsite support to the Space and Missile Defense Directorate under the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (A&S)/Strategic, Space, and Intelligence Portfolio Management (SSIPM) Office as an expert acquisition portfolio adviser on PNT systems like the Global Positioning System (GPS) and its control segments. Develop decision-ready material for senior leaders and apply the initiative to navigate headquarters and acquisition processes to support the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) portfolio management responsibilities. Particular focus will be serving as an expert acquisition portfolio adviser on PNT systems and their control segments. Analyst will support portfolio management and oversight of systems through development, production, and fielding to the warfighter.
