Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Meet eligibility requirements for a U.S. Public Trust clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
- 2-5 years of experience in cost estimation, government finance, cost/benefits analysis, and/or analytical focused positions.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Engineering, Business, or Finance.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and other MS Office Suite products.
- Strong analytical background in gathering and interpreting complex amounts of data and excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) programs and analytical involvement with government acquisition process.
- Proficiency in use of cost estimating and risk tools such as Crystal Ball, @Risk, SEER-SEM, and/or ACEIT.
- Master's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Engineering, Business, or Finance.

Salary transparency pay range for the Washington DC area: $60k-80k
Responsibilities
The Jr. Cost Analyst will perform data collection, model development, database management, data normalization, risk analysis, sensitivity analysis, acquisition/contract evaluation, conduct Net Present Value (NPV), and cost/financial performance monitoring. They will also participate in technical working groups with engineering, budget, schedule, and acquisition functional team members. In addition, the Cost Analyst will manage client relationships and expectations.
