Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience years of experience
- Minimum of 1-3 years directly related experience
- Problem solving and time management capabilities
- US Citizenship required, successful candidates will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Must possess and maintain DoD 8570 / 8140 compliant certification
- Security clearance (Top Secret//SCI Required)
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with system building and process development (Secure Host Baselines, Windows Server, Windows OS, Linux, etc.)
- Experience in VMWare and virtualized architecture and environments
- Basic understanding of routing and switching in multi-vendor environment (Dell, Cisco, Juniper)
Responsibilities
- Promote a strong customer service ethic, ensuring timely and effective support to end users
- Serve as the initial point of contact for all computer and system-related concerns from users
- Provide timely support to identify and resolve IT-related issues that may arise in day-to-day operations, including hardware and software troubleshooting
- Investigating faults in the systems and networks, perform analysis, diagnose, and resolution of complex problems, and recommend and implement corrective actions
- Deploy, repair, test, and inventory software. Install, configure, and troubleshoot devices; track inventory, perform system patching and upgrades
- Ensure software maintenance and coordinate with third-party vendors as necessary
- Assist in the installation and configuration of hardware components, as well as the deployment and maintenance of various software applications utilized across different departments
- Assist in the documentation of Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliant IT processes, protocols, and standard operating procedures to ensure that all IT operations are well-documented for future reference
- Contribute to ongoing IT projects, including system upgrades, software integrations, and the implementation of new technologies to enhance the overall efficiency of the manufacturing processes
- Coordinate services, troubleshooting, and resolutions with 3rd party transport providers
- Coordinate and execute scheduled upgrades
- Interface with third-party support and equipment vendors as needed
- Some travel may be required
- Work independently and in team environments
- Position available in the San Diego, CA; Chantilly, VA; or Dahlgren, VA areas
