Qualifications
Required:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Analytics, Systems Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, or related field
- 0-2 years of experience performing analysis
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in the areas of Business, Finance, Economics, or Political Science
- Ability to research complex economic topics on short notice and develop concise, informative reports and briefings
- Demonstrated ability to analyze technical problems by developing research questions, implementing appropriate analytical methods, and presenting results
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- U.S. citizenship and eligible for a DoD Secret clearance
Desired:
- Understanding and interest in developing mathematical models to solve target problems and data gathering, cleaning, and analysis
- Familiarity or interest in learning about data analysis tools such as Python and Stata
Responsibilities
The Industry Security Analyst Intern will enhance America's national security by supporting USG programs that grow and protect the Nation's industrial base and global economic interests. In close coordination with ISAG's Business Intelligence and Economic Security teams, you will provide business intelligence, economic analysis, and market assessments of the industrial base. In this role you will connect large diverse data sources from government, commercial, and open sources to empower decisions that ensure robust, innovative, affordable, and technologically superior industrial capabilities today and in the future.
