Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Must meet eligibility requirements for a U.S. Public Trust clearance.
- 5-10 years of experience in government program cost estimation roles.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Engineering, Business or Finance.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and other MS products.
- Strong analytical background in gathering and interpreting complex amounts of data and excellent communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working on Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) programs.
- Analytical involvement with government acquisition process and proficiency in use of cost estimating and risk tools such as Crystal Ball, @Risk, SEER-SEM and/or ACEIT.
- MA/MS/MBA degree in Economics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Engineering, Business or Finance.
- Professional Cost Estimator/Analyst (PCEA®).

Salary transparency pay range for the Washington DC area: $100k-$120k
Responsibilities
The Cost Analyst will be responsible for leading individual tasks, as well as being an active contributor for cost-related activities on assigned programs. Develop a variety of cost estimating products such as Lifecycle Cost Estimates (LCCE's), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE's), Alternative Analysis, Cost/Benefit Analysis and business case support. Perform duties such as data collection, model development, database management, data normalization, risk analysis, sensitivity analysis, acquisition/contract evaluation, conduct net present value (NPV) and cost/financial performance monitoring. Finally, actively participate in technical working groups with engineering, budget, schedule, and acquisition functional team members.
