Required:
- BA/BS degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in a government research environment
- Active Secret clearance
- Ability to communicate effectively and have excellent oral and writing skills
- Self-starter and capable of working both independently and as part of a team
- Proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Responsibilities
The candidate will support the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) in managing the full lifecycle of large-scale research and development efforts. As a Business Financial Manager in our fast-paced Strategic Technology Office (STO), you'll play a critical role in SPA's mission by providing financial and administrative support to Progam Managers. In this role, you will be responsible for financial tracking and analysis, budget preparation/maintenance assistance, solicitation preparation and management, tracking of deliverables and milestones, maintaining schedules and calendars, meeting support, preparation of correspondence, and maintaining files.
