Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of seven years of Federal business development life-cycle experience (capture, proposal, solutioning, etc.) in a growth-focused environment
- Demonstrated experience with large, prime, single-award opportunities ($100M+ total contract value)
- Bachelor's Degree
- Expert knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat,
- Professional business development/capture/proposal training (e.g., Shipley course completion)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proactive, process-oriented individual with strong attention to detail
- Experience effectively managing multiple simultaneous projects
- Comfortable working with and briefing senior management
- Flexible, results-driven individual who consistently meets tight deadlines and is able to respond to changing priorities
- Able to work flexible schedules, including long hours and weekends as needed for deadline driven activities (i.e., proposals)
- Current Top Secret (TS) clearance (or ability to obtain one); TS/SCI clearance a plus
Responsibilities
The Business Partner provides matrixed support and is embedded within a Division. In this role, you will work directly with the leadership team to strategize and implement plans to support and expand Division- level growth. This position coordinates growth activities and serves as a liaison between the Division and the CG team to ensure efforts are appropriately resourced and accounted for in planning, review, reporting, etc. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Participate in the development and ongoing support to Division growth objectives, strategies, and plans for implementation
- Work with Division leaders and capture managers to identify and develop plans for new business and recompete opportunities
- Coordinate and support business development, capture, and proposal efforts within a Division
- Support capture readiness, solutioning, story board, and proposal reviews
- Support development of briefings and artifacts to potential customers, participation in industry events, white paper development, and response to Government requests for market research
- Attend networking events, conferences, meetings, and industry events to build relationships and promote company capabilities, as directed
- Interface with counterparts for cross-Divisional collaboration and support
- Oversee Division pipeline data and facilitate pipeline reviews between the Division and the CG team
- Coordinate and report status of growth activities within a Division, including pipeline status, upcoming bids, planned and pending pricing activities, industry events, planned client engagements, etc.
- Support development of RFI responses including drafting and reviewing, for Division opportunities
- Support capture and proposal development including writing, scheduling and tracking of gate reviews, participation in and documentation of solutioning sessions, and participation in proposal preparation
- Compile data to support growth activities: e.g., CPAR/customer kudos compilation; innovations implemented on contracts and outcomes; metrics to support efficiencies, etc.
- Attend CG and Division weekly staff meetings
