Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of related experience in DoD operations to include significant experience and familiarity with DoD BMC2 systems and processes (tactical and operational level)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI; Special Access Program eligibility; willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DoD, military/civilian personnel, and industry partners
  • Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, and initiative, and require minimal supervision
  • Ability to work both independently and in teams to meet mission objectives
  • Capability to track and coordinate multiple simultaneous efforts
  • Willingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS (up to 25% travel expected)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Able to communicate and exchange information with peers and senior personnel; good oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

Organization within the Office of the Secretary of Defense is looking to hire an outstanding individual to support military capability development and prototyping, with a strong background in DoD battle management command and control (BMC2) systems, architectures, and datalinks. Experience in integrated air and missile defense (IAMD), Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS), and/or Army fires highly desired. Individual will support the testing and evaluation of BMC2 prototype systems and the integration with kinetic effectors, and therefore candidacy will be strengthened by experience in end-to-end, multi-domain test strategy development, planning, and execution. The individual must be adaptable to all manner of Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support, including all facets of project management, as well as coordinating within the organization and with prototype developers, DoD and IC stakeholders, and capability prototype-to-operations transition partners.

 

Duties include:

  • Lead and coordinate software tool development, system procurement, and supporting demonstration activities of BMC2 and integration of kinetic effectors prototype capabilities in support of multiple Service requirements.
  • Oversee collaborative development of requirements and programmatic documents (MOUs, SOWs, Project Outlines, etc.) with Service stakeholders such as USA, USAF and USN partners.
  • Develop schedule and training plans and products for BMC2 system integration into Service Weapon School Exercises.
  • Support program Exercise & Integration Lead with coordination of BMC2 system integration with EUCOM, INDOPACOM, ACC, USAFWS, MAWTS, NAWDC, and other stakeholder exercises.
  • Assist in program test plan development and execution.
  • Assist ground integration leads with requirements and supporting kill chain analyses.
