I'm the medical director for the Medical University of South Carolina Health in Orangeburg and Bamberg, South Carolina. I have been a part of Sound for over four years; it's a great workplace! I'm proud of the emergency medicine practice we have built and welcome interest from physician assistants interested in learning more. People
- We are a closely-knit, established team of 20 physicians and seven APPs.?Our team has a wide variety of experience, ranging from newly trained residents to seasoned physicians with over three decades of clinical expertise.

- Our practice covers the full spectrum of emergency medicine, encompassing all the procedures you've honed during your Emergency Medicine residency.
Practice
- Our caseload exposes you to diverse pathology, providing a unique experience.
- We are seeking a part-time physician assistant with emergency medicine experience interested in approximately four to five shifts per month.
Purpose

- We're a community-minded team and encourage our team members who want to contribute in and out of the hospital to help make our local community thrive. Our team members participate in quarterly health fairs in nearby communities that the hospital serves and community activities such as coaching children's sports teams.
The Orangeburg and Bamberg area in South Carolina offers a welcoming community with a rich cultural heritage and a strong sense of community pride. Residents enjoy a blend of small-town charm, diverse outdoor recreational opportunities, and proximity to historical sites, making it an appealing and balanced place to call home. Our physicians live in the community or commute from Summerville, Columbia, or Charleston.
