Position Summary: SIG SAUER Academy is seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role requires a proactive, highly organized individual who will enhance our brand's presence across multiple platforms. The Marketing Specialist will be instrumental in developing and executing marketing strategies that promote our training programs, enhance customer engagement, and drive attendance.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Budget Oversight: Working with the Ops Manager on tracking the marketing budget, ensuring all expenses are tracked and stay within the allocated budget.
  • PO Coordination: Enter requisitions for purchase orders (POs) to ensure vendors are paid promptly.
  • Financial Reporting: Contribute to regular budget reports and analysis to senior management, highlighting variances and suggesting corrective actions.
  • Ticket System Coordination: Support the oversight of the marketing ticket system for the SSA marketing team, ensuring all requests are filtered, prioritized, and assigned to the appropriate team members.
  • Efficiency Optimization: Help develop processes to streamline ticket handling and improve response times.
  • Sponsorship Schedule Development: Help develop and track a detailed sponsorship schedule, outlining key events and deadlines.
  • Sponsorship Requests: Process sponsorship requests in coordination with corporate partners, ensuring responsive and timely communication.
  • Inventory Support: Assist in organizing and maintaining marketing inventory, ensuring all materials are available and in good condition.
  • Signage Oversight: Inspect signage and branding materials for repairs and manage orders for new items as needed.
  • Brand Alignment: Ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.
  • Platform Support: Assist in managing Monday.com for the Academy marketing team, supporting project management across marketing needs.
  • Task Support: Help track task assignments and project delivery timelines to ensure efficient workflow and on-time completion within Monday.com.
  • System Optimization: Support the continuous improvement of Monday.com usage to enhance productivity and collaboration.
  • Event Support: Contribute to the planning and execution of marketing events, ensuring all logistical and promotional aspects are covered.
  • Content Development Support: Provide assistance with the development of marketing content, including copywriting, graphic design, and video production.
  • Market Research: Participate in conducting market research to support marketing strategies and identify new engagement opportunities.
  • Performance Analytics: Assist in tracking and analyzing marketing campaign performance, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Internal Communication: Help facilitate communication within the marketing team and across departments to ensure collaboration and alignment.

Education/Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Project Management: Exposure to project management principles, either through coursework or certification, can be an asset.
  • Collaborative Abilities: Strong teamwork skills are essential for working effectively with different departments and levels of management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to facilitate clear and effective internal communications and to assist in content creation.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Analytical Skills: Basic skills in analyzing marketing data to support budgeting and marketing strategy decisions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with marketing software and tools such as CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and content management systems. Proficiency in using project management tools like Monday.com is highly desirable.
  • Adaptability: Being adaptable and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Creativity: Ability to contribute to creative discussions and content creation, including writing and basic graphic design.
  • Learning Orientation: Eager to learn and grow within the company, absorbing knowledge from senior staff and ongoing training opportunities.
  • Flexible Schedule: Ability to work nights and weekends for event support. Ability to travel globally for brand support.

Working Conditions:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer using a keyboard and mouse performing repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, and twist, lift and move files.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
  • Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc. Security Mandates.
