We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Marketing & Events Specialist. The successful candidate will work closely with our Marketing Director, Canada to support various marketing initiatives and assist in continued growth of our business, diving deep into market segment activities and working across our marketing, design and sales organization to develop projects and tools both for internal and external use and driving marketing projects forward. Responsibilities include assisting in the planning, development and implementation of Canadian marketing activities including communications, events, websites and social media.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and contributes to the growth and success of our organization.
Ability to work in an office 3 days a week with after-hours events.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to the planning and execution of marketing events across multiple brands (Patcraft, Shaw Contract, Philadelphia Commercial, Anderson Tuftex, COREtec & Shaw Floors).
Support the development and implementation of strategies to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
Engage with internal and external customers to execute Canadian marketing projects.
Provide support to sales account managers to enable revenue generation. (Presentations, case studies, questionnaires, images, physical palette, presentations support, lead qualification, branding, hosting events, Intro/engagement letters email templates)
Create marketing content as needed i.e.: newsletters
Manage workflow, schedule, and traffic of projects from concept to completion to ensure timelines are met.
Assist in measurement, tracking and reporting on Canadian marketing projects
Experience managing budgets
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Creative thinking and a passion for marketing and branding.
Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
25-40% travel across Canada.
Preferred Skills
Written and verbal communication skills in French
Salesforce CRM experience
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management tools, email marketing software, and website content management systems.
Previous experience in marketing, event coordination, or related roles is a plus.
