- Must have BLS certifications.
- Job Details
- Follows the prescribed techniques in administering all types of procedures.
- Maintains working inventory of supplies.
- Prepares patient for procedures, explains procedure, assists patient to and from exam room.
- Prepares contrast agents and other materials in accordance with procedure.
- Observes equipment and patient and reports unusual occurrences.
- Cleans and disinfects procedure room and equipment.
- Develops film in accordance with photographic techniques.
- Performs general office duties.
- Uses proper radiation safety techniques.
- May be required to perform in more than one modality. Duties could be any three of: Diagnostic, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Angio.
- Transports patients.
- Performs quality control and quality assurance duties as assigned.
- Train other staff members as required.
- Assess equipment needs with Director.
- Job Requirements
- Must have BLS certifications (Must be through the American Heart Association); RQI certifications will not be accepted.
- Must have Cath Lab tech/Interventional Radiology experience.
- Must have 2+ years experience in a hospital setting.
- Schedule Information
- The shifts will be Monday - Friday 7a-5p (5) 8's.
- Weekend call rotation for NM from 7am-7pm.

- Additional Details
- PET experience would be a plus but not required.
