Certification Details
• Must have ARDMS or RDCS certification.
• Must have BLS certification (Must be through the American Heart Association); RQI certifications will not be accepted.

Job Details
• The Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
• Responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
• Responsibilities include but are not limited to: abdominal, pelvic, (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms.
• Proficient at scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotum) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis and aspirations.

Job Requirements
• Must have ARDMS or RDCS certification.
• Required - Candidate must have 3 years recent General OB/GYN, Abdomen & Vascular Tech experience.
• Preferred if the candidate also has Echo tech experience; the facility is also willing to train.
• Must have BLS certification (Must be through the American Heart Association); RQI certifications will not be accepted.

Schedule Information
• Shifts will be Monday - Friday 8p-4:30a; - Potential some On Call – One Weekend A Month Saturday and Sunday (6pm to 6am).
