THE OPPORTUNITY:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Traditional Labor Associate with 3-7 years of experience.  This is a Multi-Office/National opening with a preference for any of our California offices or our Chicago office.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

As an Associate in the Labor Management Relations Department, you'll have the opportunity to work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking cases in collaboration with senior attorneys. 

 

YOU HAVE:

  • 3-7 years of management side experience in traditional labor matters arising under the National Labor Relations Act, including NLRB hearings, collective bargaining, and labor arbitration proceedings as well as other labor union matters.
  • The ideal candidate also will have experience with discrimination and wrongful discharge employment litigation, EEOC matters, and wage hour matters and should be able to handle routine employment litigation with minimal supervision. Experience in OFCCP and affirmative action matters, and/or OSHA is a plus.
  • The ability and drive to take responsibility for routine and increasingly complex matters with minimal supervision.
  • Intellectual curiosity, a willingness to think outside the box, and a knack for finding practical solutions to complex problems.
  • Excellent academic credentials, analytical skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Must be licensed in the state that you reside in.

The salary range for this role is $240,000 to $320,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for an annual merit increase and bonus pay.
