THE OPPORTUNITY:
As a Labor Relations Legal Analyst you will support our national labor practice and will be responsible for responding to Unfair Labor Practice (ULP) charges, conducting research projects and providing strategic support on various labor relations matters. You will work alongside top labor attorneys in the field, gain hands-on experience in high-profile labor relations matters and engage with leading corporate clients across multiple industries.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
On any given day you will:
- Assist attorneys in responding to Unfair Labor Practice (ULP) charges, including reviewing case files, interviewing witnesses, drafting responses, and coordinating with clients.
- Conduct legal and industry research related to labor law, collective bargaining agreements, and workforce trends.
- Support the provision of legal advice by analyzing data and assisting in the preparation of reports to clients.
- Assist in preparing for National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) hearings, including document review and case strategy.
- Monitor and summarize changes in labor law, NLRB decisions, and regulatory updates that may impact our clients.
- Draft internal and client-facing memoranda, reports, and presentations on labor relations trends and best practices.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations, Labor Studies, Business or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in the Labor and Employment Relations field.
- Knowledge of the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) and the processes of the NLRB (direct experience with the NLRB is a plus).
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize complex labor law issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Firm operations, policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software and operating systems.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and shifting priorities.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- A commitment to quality of finished product.
- Ability to problem solve.

The salary range for this role is $75,000 to $88,000 annually, which is based on a 40-hour work week. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for an annual merit increase and bonus pay.
