Role and Responsibilities:
As a Behavioral Health Nurse (RN), you will be critical in providing compassionate and comprehensive care to patients with mental health and behavioral disorders. Your responsibilities will include:

• Working closely with individuals of all ages to assess their needs, develop care plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to promote mental wellness and stability.
• Advocating for patients and contributing to their holistic treatment and recovery.

As a Mental Health Technician, you will support the healthcare team by:

• Assisting in patient care activities, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Monitoring patients' conditions and providing support during their treatment journey.

Requirements for Behavioral Health Nurse (RN):
Minimum Education:

• Associate Degree in Nursing – Required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing – Preferred

Certification:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
• Handle with Care Certification or CPI (within 90 days of hire) – Required
• ACLS – Preferred

Licensure:

• Valid licensure in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse (RN) or multi-state/compact RN license

Requirements for Mental Health Technicians:
Minimum Education:

• High school diploma or GED – Required
• Associate degree in a related field – Preferred

Certification:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
• Handle with Care Certification or CPI (within 90 days of hire) – Required

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced healthcare settings include psychiatric facilities, outpatient clinics, and St. Francis Medical Group community hospitals.
• Potential exposure to challenging patient behaviors and emotionally charged situations.
• Regular collaboration with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.

Compensation Information:
$33.0 / Hourly - $33.0 / Hourly
Details:
Base rate is for new grads. Experienced RNs have a higher base rate.

Starting At: 33.0 Hourly
Up To: 45.0 Hourly
