Job Category: Supply Chain & Logistics Job Family: Supply Chain Planning Job Description: Provides leadership and direction to a team of Schreiber Planning partners who have the primary responsibility for day-to-day execution of raw material purchasing, primarily bulk cheese. Collaborates with internal business, external suppliers, and commercial partners, establishing collaborative supply chain relationships to drive sustainable and profitable growth. Effectively measures and monitors key Supply Chain KPI's.

 

This position offers a flexible hybrid work schedule working a combination of days in office and remote at home. Our office is located in Green Bay, WI.

What you'll do:

  • Work collaboratively across the organization to ensure short-term execution aligns with the mid and long-term organizational strategies.
  • Monitors and achieves appropriate inventory levels to meet working capital goals while balancing the need to meet operational costs and customer service level expectations.
  • Responsible for day to day execution and tasks of some raw material categories.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and relationship management with sales, internal production facilities, Supply Chain Sourcing, and suppliers.
  • Develops a team culture of continuous improvement, accountability, influence, and advocacy of change through partners, systems, and processes for the Schreiber Planning Team.
  • Assists with creation and communication of objective measurement in support of managing supplier service levels.
  • Represent Supply Chain Planning team on cross functional projects.
  • Work with key internal stakeholders to problem solve and minimize services outages.


What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ Year of production planning and inventory planning experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of building and developing end-to-end, best practice processes.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to influence and transformative thinking.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
  • Must have a reliable internet connection (minimum 10 mb download speed) at home for remote and hybrid positions.
